Wedding Films
Promovideo (UK) is a small company based around myself, Ian Burke and several assistants.
The customer experience and interactivity reflect this allowing each film to be personalized and tailored to each individual wedding.
We offer 2 main customizable packages
which broadly fall into 2 camps. A wedding video and a wedding film. An arbitary distinction though I consider a wedding video to be a full record of the day, edited chronologically and including all the footage shot. It would usually be 2 - 3 hours long.
The wedding film package includes the above though the main feature is a shorter version, anything from 20 minutes to 45 minutes in length. This is not simply a highlights version, but includes all the main features of the day creatively edited with music and effects to produce a moving and compelling story. It can be uploading to the web, facebook, youtube etc if you wish and be viewable by a much wider selection of your friends and family worldwide. Whichever package you choose, all weddings are filmed with these criteria:
• Discrete, unobtrosive, high quality, high definition, wide screen cameras.
The ceremony is always filmed with 2 camera people with editing between the 2 cameras. This is the most important part of the wedding and often the hardest to film. The 2 cameras give us more options with camera positions enabling both the bride and groom to be visible as much as possible.
• Quality sound using a variety of recording techniques.
The ceremony is also the hardest to obtain quality sound and we use a mixture of radio and directional microphones along with stand-alone recorders to pick up the vows and readings even in large churches. The same care is also applied to the speeches.
• Messages to the camera from guests
This is of course optional and dependant on whether you and the guests are interested and willing. It can be a moving and humourous addition to the film.
• Custom made DVD's with menus, printed labels and cases
We'll be happy to host a secure page from this website to include the videos from your wedding and be viewable by friends and family worldwide. A slideshow of wedding photos set to music can also be included on both the DVD and the webpage. You are welcome to choose any music you wish for the film and we will arrange the neccessary copyright clearance.
